A Collaborative Approach to EMDR Training & Certification
Through our partnership with EMDR Cleveland, we offer EMDRIA-approved Basic Training designed to prepare clinicians to confidently and ethically integrate EMDR into their clinical practice. Our trainings are delivered in collaboration with EMDR Cleveland and feature expert instruction from EMDRIA Approved Trainers and Consultants.
Derrick Martin, is an EMDRIA Approved Trainer at the Mind/Body Institute, works closely with Thomas Zimmerman, MA, LPCC-S, of EMDR Cleveland to provide comprehensive, high-quality training experiences. In addition, our team serves as consultants and assistant faculty, offering ongoing guidance and support throughout the training and certification process.
This collaborative model ensures an enriched learning experience with enhanced consultation opportunities and hands-on support every step of the way.
About the Trainers
Derrick Martin
Derrick Martin is an EMDRIA Approved Trainer and plays a key role in delivering EMDR Basic Trainings through our partnership with EMDR Cleveland. He is dedicated to equipping clinicians with practical skills and confidence to effectively integrate EMDR into their clinical work.
Thomas Zimmerman, MA, LPCC-S
Thomas Zimmerman is a nationally recognized EMDRIA Approved Trainer and Consultant and the owner of EMDR Cleveland. With over two decades of experience, he is known for his clinical expertise and commitment to advancing trauma-informed care. His teaching style emphasizes clarity, practical application, and ethical integration of EMDR into diverse clinical settings.
